_Plan to Stop the Recession
This is a socio-economic plan to resolve the current economic crisis. Please take a look at it and see if it is something that you can support. These are the Objectives: To: 1. Stimulate socially responsible economic growth. 2. Enhance the quality of life of all citizens. 3. Eliminate all involuntary unemployment. 4. Eliminate all involuntary economic hardship. 5. Stimulate opportunities for work that is economically, psychologically and socially rewarding. 6. Eliminate wasteful and destructive forms of public expenditure. 7. Address the fiscal crisis of the state. I accept that these objectives are ambitious, however, I no longer believe that the vicissitudes of the economy are beyond rational economic control. Nor is it essential to harm citizen wellbeing, in order to solve our economic problems. I have approached the recession in a manner that distills the economic measures that will best facilitate citizen wellbeing. The best achievements of humanity have occurred during times of economic affluence for a wide spectrum of the population. This plan is dedicated to achieving the affluence that is the mainstay of civilization. The plan is here for people to debate, critique and amend as necessary. I don’t see it as a final product, but as a contribution to the democratic process, that aims to participate in building a consensus for change. As I receive feedback, I will revise the plan to take people’s views into account. I hope that you enjoy reading the plan and consider that you might include the proposals, concepts and ideas in your discussions. Please click on the link or the download to take a look. |
